Kahramanmaraş Depremi Bağlamında Aile İçi İletişim Dinamiklerinin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışma 6 Şubat 2023’teki Kahramanmaraş merkezli depremler sonrası aile içi iletişimde yaşanan değişimleri incelemektedir. Depremler, sadece fiziksel yapıları değil, aynı zamanda aile dinamiklerini derinden etkiler. Araştırmada çocuk ve yetişkin bireylerin kriz anındaki tepkileri, duygusal paylaşımları, karar alma süreçlerindeki rol dağılımları ve güven inşa süreçleri ele alınmıştır. Nitel araştırma yöntemleri ve tematik analizle yürütülen çalışmada, katılımcıların deneyimleri derinlemesine incelenmiştir. Ailelerin dayanışma, açık iletişim ve duygusal destek sağlama kapasiteleri, bireylerin travmatik etkilerle başa çıkmasında kritik bir rol oynar. Özellikle çocukların duygusal ihtiyaçlarının karşılanması, aile bağlarının güçlenmesi ve iyileşme sürecinin hızlanması önem taşımaktadır. Devlet politikaları, sosyal hizmetler ve Aile Danışmanlık Merkezlerinin bu süreçteki destekleyici etkisi vurgulanmaktadır. Söz konusu mekanizmalar, kriz dönemlerinde toplumsal iyileşmeyi de teşvik etmektedir.

An Examination of Intra-Family Communication Dynamics in the Context of the Kahramanmaraş Earthquake

Abstract

This study examines changes in family communication after the February 6, 2023 Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes. Such disasters deeply affect not only physical structures but also family dynamics. The research explores the reactions of children and adults, emotional exchanges, role distributions in decision-making, and trust-building processes. Conducted with qualitative methods and thematic analysis, the study deeply investigates participants’ experiences. Families' capacities for solidarity, open communication, and emotional support play a vital role in coping with trauma. Addressing children's emotional needs, strengthening family bonds, and accelerating recovery are particularly significant. The study emphasizes the importance of state policies, social services, and Family Counseling Centers in providing critical support during crises. These mechanisms not only foster individual recovery but also contribute to broader societal healing.
