Turkish Journal of Earthquake Research

"Bulletin of Earthquake Research (Deprem Arastirma Bulteni - DAB)" was published "periodically" as 84 continuous issues for 27 years between April 1973 and April 2000 by the Earthquake Department of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) of Türkiye. But it has currently suspended its publication life. In 2019, it has started its publication life again with the new name called as Turkish Journal of Earthquake Research (TDAD) after the decision of Seismology and Physics of the Earth’s Interior Commission of Türkiye (TUSAK). Published papers are indexed by Scopus and TR Dizin. On the other hand, all old issues published under DAB which contains earthquake memory of Turkey, are accessible for readers and researchers at https://deprem.afad.gov.tr/earthquake-research-bulletin

With its new publication policy, the TDAD will accept earthquake focused scientific papers that are in Turkish language and it will be published electronically (e-ISSN) three times a year within the scope of an international peer-reviewed scientific journal. Earthquake focused studies to be published in TDAD will provide a suitable work space for public authorities, scientists and researchers of different disciplines in sharing their findings with other experts/colleagues under the titles of Research Paper, Review, Technical Note, Letter to the Editor, Discussion, Correction. With this feature, TDAD aims to reach both researchers, academicians and all experts.
