Hubless Wheel Design and Calculations
Abstract
In this study, Helical gear design, analysis and calculations, chain gear system design and calculations, lubrication system, brake disc, caliper, original stabilization part and system, transmission shaft design, calculations and analysis, wedge calculations analysis and design, bearing, ring selection and necessary information about dimensioning of the system, mechanical design, system components and methods are presented. The advantages and disadvantages of the system compared to conventional wheels have been reviewed and a cost analysis has been made. Since the system has a disadvantageous efficiency compared to traditional wheels, it has been tried to increase the efficiency and life of the current design and to create a usage area in the market.
