Archive Policy

The Editor ensures the secure archiving of published material. Turkish Journal for the Psychology of Religion sends its published articles to electronic archives and makes them openly accessible without the need for any action from the author(s), based on the principle of open access. Authors or funding organizations may upload a copy of the accepted article to archival sites. 

Turkish Journal for the Psychology of Religion commits to keeping all its articles openly accessible under the CC-BY-NC Creative Commons license and storing their full-text content in archive platforms and on the https://dergipark.org.tr/tr/pub/tdpd website.

Turkish Journal for the Psychology of Religion digitally archives its published articles in LOCKSS. Additionally, published articles, without embargo, can be accessed in institutional repositories (such as DSpace, AVESİS, etc.), subject-based archives, or any other archive. Thus, everyone can freely access this publication immediately.

Turkish Journal for the Psychology of Religion (ISSN: 2687-2722), published by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Koç, is pleased to announce its archiving policy in line with supporting the dissemination of research results.
• Turkish Journal for the Psychology of Religion allows authors to use the final published version of an article (publisher pdf) for self-archiving (author's personal website) and/or archiving in a corporate repository after publication.
• Authors can self-archive their articles in public and/or commercial subject-based archives. There is no embargo period, but the published source must be cited, and a link to the journal homepage or the articles' DOI must be provided.
• Authors can download the output of the article as a PDF document. Authors can send copies of the article to their colleagues without any embargo.
• Turkish Journal for the Psychology of Religion allows all versions of articles (Submitted version, accepted version, published version) to be stored in a preferred institutional or other archive chosen by the author without embargo.
• Turkish Journal for the Psychology of Religion uses the LOCKSS system to facilitate the creation of permanent archives. The LOCKSS Program, based at Stanford University Libraries, provides award-winning, low-cost, open-source digital preservation tools to libraries and publishers to ensure permanent and authorized access to digital content. The LOCKSS Program is a library-led digital preservation system based on the principle of "lots of copies keep stuff safe". The LOCKSS Program develops and supports libraries using open-source, end-to-end digital preservation software.
