THE EFFECTS OF NEWLY DESIGNED TEACHING MATERIALS ON STUDENTS IN TEACHING GRAMMAR

Abstract

In this study, it is tried to specify the contribution of teaching materials used in Turkish Grammar teaching. For this purpose, new teaching materials were developed for the “Word Deriving Ways Through Construction Prefixes and Suffixes” unit. First of all, a pre-test was applied to both experiment and control groups and the data were recorded. Teaching was done with newly developed teaching materials and new method to experiment group and traditional teaching materials and method to control group and their effects on students’ learning were founded and results were analyzed through independent groups by the “t” test technique. Some recommendations were made in order to increase the quality of teaching process in accordance with the findings of analysis results.

DİL BİLGİSİ ÖĞRETİMİNDE YENİ GELİŞTİRİLEN ÖĞRETİM MATERYALLERİNİN ÖĞRENCİLERİN ÖĞRENME DÜZEYİNE ETKİLİLİĞİ

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Türkçe dil bilgisi öğretiminde kullanılan öğretim materyallerinin öğrenmeye katkısı belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla “Yapım Ekleriyle Sözcük Türetme Yolları” ünitesi için yeni öğretim materyalleri geliştirilmiştir. Önce deney grubu ve kontrol grubuna ön-test uygulanarak veriler kaydedilmiştir. Deney grubuna yeni geliştirilen öğretim materyalleri ile kontrol grubuna ise geleneksel öğretim materyalleri ile öğretim yapılmış ve her iki öğretim materyalinin öğrencilerin öğrenmeleri üzerindeki etkileri deneysel koşullarda belirlenerek elde edilen sonuçlar bağımsız gruplar “t” test’i tekniğiyle analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonucu elde edilen bulgulardan hareketle öğretim sürecinin niteliğini artırmaya yönelik bazı öneriler dile getirilmiştir.
