Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesinde COVID-19 pandemi sürecinde eğitim deneyimlerimizi paylaşmayı amaçladık. Fakültemizde YÖK’ün 13 Mart 2020’de eğitim ilgili kararı sonrası tüm dönemlerde eğitim online dijital platformlar üzerinden senkron ve asenkron olarak başladı. Tüm sınavlar dijital platform üzerinden yapıldı. Bu süreçte hem öğretim üyeleri, hem de öğrencilerle düzenli aralıklarla dijital platformlar üzerinden toplantılar yapıldı ve geri bildirimleri alındı. Her ne kadar bu süreç içinde bazı yetersizlikler yaşandıysa da öğrenci ve öğretim üyelerinin adaptasyonu hızlı oldu. Eğitime ara verilmemesiyle öğrenci mağduriyeti yaşanmadı. Bundan sonraki süreçte uzaktan eğitimin tıp eğitiminin ayrılmaz bir parçası olacağını düşünmekteyiz.
We aimed to share our educational experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic process at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University Faculty of Medicine. In our faculty, after the decision of the Council of Higher Education on education on March 13 2020 education started in all classes as synchronous and asynchronous through online digital platforms. All exams were done on the digital platforms. Connection problems, hardware problems, ensuring exam security, and the suitability of course contents for distance education were the main problems in live lessons. During this period, meetings were held with both academicians and students on the digital platforms at regular intervals and their feedbacks were received. Although there were some deficiencies during this process, the adaptation of students and faculty members was fast. No student victimization was occurred due to the interruption of education. Constant communication with other medical school deans and our students helped us understand each other and manage the process more accurately. We think that distance education will be an integral part of medical education in the next period
