SEVİM BURAK'IN OYUN METİNLERİNDE KADINLAR

Abstract

Sevim Burak has a special place in our literature with the content and format of her texts. Produced texts includes quotations and clues followed by her own life, they also have a relationship with each other tightly. This status between the texts, combined with repeated items, and formal testing constitutes the basic features of Burak's texts. Minority identity, disease, the woman defining herself over a man and being depressed, expended lifes without any sense, death and a constricted feeling are conspicuous as the clear themes. Sevim Burak's texts may take different interpretations with different readings. Here, it's been tried to set up an angle over the female characters.
