Journal of Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy - Tiyatro Eleştirmenliği ve Dramaturji Bölümü Dergisi is a peer-reviewed, open-access, scientific journal published biannually in June and December. It is devoted to study of theatre and performance.
The Journal features social and historical studies, theoretical inquiries that analyze dramatic texts and production. The languages of publication are English, German and Turkish.
The journal targets national and international audiences, has both national and international members in the editorial board, and aims to enhance international author contributions.
As of 2023, the print version has been stopped. The journal has become an online-only publication
The target group of the journal consists of academicians, researchers, professionals, students, related professional and academic bodies and institutions.
There are no article processing charges or submission fees for any submitted or accepted articles. All expenses of the journal are covered by the Istanbul University.
