It was recently investigated to improve the dyeability and printability of cotton fabric and Ule wrinkle-resistance finishing process without formaldehyde by the cat ionization pretreatment on colton fabric. The surface of collon fabric which was slightly anionic nature in aquous mediums was changed cationic nature by cationisation pretreatment and thus the afinily and substantiv ity for anionic dyestuffs of the cotton fabric were increased. Even it is possible to provide the saving from chemical agents and to reduce the hannful on environmental due to dyeing conditions containing sail-free and ,neutral pH after the pretreatment. It was aim to obtain all clear textile waste water on dyeing process. In this study, we compiled these studies about cationisation of cotton fabric on the literature while it was emphasized that it was important to provide saving from chemical agent and energy as well as being environmentally-friend.
