In this study firstly, the frictional force was defined and the inFormation about the methods that was applied to reduce frictional force in the surface of textile materials was given. After that, the studies of some researchers containing woven fabric frictions were presented. The frictional force which is valid for fabric cannot be explained by the way of classical Coulomb frictional force, because, textile materials are deformable and flexible. In general the frictional force of textile materials is determined in the equation of F=a.Nn and it is very complex. In this equation, a and n are the friction coefficient depending on the properties of the surface. As a result. in the studies made, it was determined that the relation between frictional force and friction coefficient is nonlinear although for rigid and nonllexible materials the relation is linear.

Ancak, katl ve esnek olmayan materyallerde, bu ili§ki lineer bir ili§kidir.
