Abstract
It has become almost obligatory to control and diminish the formaldehyde content of wash and wear resins, which are widely used in the modern finishing applications of textiles. In EC countries, USA and Japan there are contain lows and tests of certain institutions which limit the annount offormaldehyde in the environment and on textiles We are summarizing the steps taken to reduce and minimize the formaldehyde content of wash and wear resins. We also introduce of Arhe{zx-resins which comply with these regulations and limitations.
