Abstract
When one looks at world trade in textiles, it will be obsemed that West Germany is still the biggest in exports, and U.S.A., together with West Germany are the biggest importers, On the other hand, in world clothing trade, Honi-Kong has surpassed Italy Kapak: GAT, International Trade, 1985-86 as the outstanding exporter. Almost one third of the -. world's total clothing imports is being made into C) : T.C. Basbakanllk Hazine ve Dig Ticaret Maste$arh@ U.S.A. - -- The 1986 has been a very good year for us textiles, and for West Europe as well. In Asia, different events have taken place. As for Turkey, one can not underestimate the potential she has in textiles and clothing.
