YÜNLÜ KUMAŞLARIN KEBRAKO EKSTRESİ KULLANILARAK BASILMASI

Abstract

Bu çalışmada doğal boyarmadde olarak Kebrako ağacının ekstresi kullanılmıştır. Yünlü kumaşlar; bakır (II) sülfat, gümüş nitrat, potasyum bikromat, nikel (II) sülfat, demir (II) sülfat, alüminyum potasyum sülfat metal tuzları ile ön ve sonradan mordanlama olmak üzere iki farklı yönteme göre mordanlanmışlardır. Guar ve Arap zamkı kullanılarak baskı işlemi gerçekleşmiştir. Baskılı örneklerin kolorimetrik ve renk verimi değerleri ve haslık özellikleri incelenmiştir. En yüksek K/S değeri gümüş nitrat mordan maddesi ile sonradan mordanlama işleminde elde edilmiştir. Arap zamkının baskı patına ilavesi renk özellikleri açısından olumlu etki sağlamıştır.

PRINTING OF WOOLEN FABRICS USING QUEBRACHO EXTRACT

Abstract

In this study, the extract of Kebrako tree has been used as a natural coloring agent. Woolen fabrics were mordanting according to two different methods including pre- and meta-mordant with copper (II) sulfate, silver nitrate, potassium chromate, nickel (II) sulfate, iron (II) sulfate, aluminium potassium sulfate metal salts. The printing process was realized using suitable thickening agents (guar gum, gum Arabic). Colorimetric values, color yield and fastness properties were determined. When the obtained results were analyzed, the highest K/S value was obtained in treatment with silver nitrate mordant. The usage of gum arabic provided positive effect in terms of color characteristics.
