Abstract

Topluma açık yerlerde veya medikal alanda kullanılan tekstil materyalleri üzerinde bakteri ve mantarlar gelişebilmektedir ve bunlar insan sağlığı açısından tehlike arz edebilmektedir. Bu nedenle antimikrobiyal özellik gösteren lifler üzerine yapılan çalışmalar giderek artmaktadır. Bu makalede mevcut antimikrobiyal lifler ve antimikrobiyal katkı maddeleri hakkında kısa bilgi verilmektedir

Bacteria and fungi can grow up on textile materials used in medical areas and social places. These microbes are harmful for human health. Therefore, new antimicrobial fibers for textile industry are one of the most advanced and exiting areas of research and application.
