TEKSTİL TERBİYE İŞLEMLERİ SIRASINDA ULTRASON CİHAZI İLE ÇALIŞMADA İŞLEM VERİMLİLİĞİNE ETKİ EDEBİLECEK FAKTÖRLERİN İNCELENMESİ

Year 2009, Volume: 19 Issue: 1, 70 - 76, 01.06.2009

Abstract

INVESTIGATION OF PARAMETRES THAT MIGHT EFFECT ON PROCESS EFFICIENCY DURING TEXTILE FINISHING TREATMENTS WITH ULTRASOUND MACHINE

Year 2009, Volume: 19 Issue: 1, 70 - 76, 01.06.2009

Abstract

However, the ultrasound technology is used in various physical and chemical reactions in different fields of industry since many years; it was found usage in intensification of wet-textile processes recently. The drawbacks of the conventional wet-textile processes like as low water/energy efficiency, longer process times, can be overcome by application of ultrasound. Several studies have been carried out on the enhancement in the efficiencies of several wet-textile processes with application of ultrasound. Despite the encouraging results of these studies, ultrasound-based wet-textile processes have remained in the laboratory because of the lack of precise knowledge of the physical mechanism of the ultrasound-enhanced wet-textile processes, and the drawbacks of the ultrasonic reactors. In this study, the factors that might affect the ultrasound efficiency have been investigated. For this purpose, the experiments about the effects of distance between material and transducers, material conformation and angle between material and transducers on the ultrasound efficiency have been performed
