KONFEKSİYON İŞLETMELERİNDE ÖRGÜTSEL ZAMAN YÖNETİMİ İÇİN ABC ANALİZİNİN UYGULANMASI

Year 2009, Volume: 19 Issue: 2, 163 - 168, 01.12.2009

Abstract

USING ABC ANALYSIS FOR ORGANIZATIONAL TIME MANAGEMENT IN APPAREL ESTABLISHMENTS

Year 2009, Volume: 19 Issue: 2, 163 - 168, 01.12.2009

Abstract

In nowadays’ very difficult rivalry conditions, firm which presents its product to final costumer just in time, gains advantage over other firms. Because of quickly changing fashion fact, just-in-time production is essential in ready-made garment manufacturing and it is very important to manage time of manufacturing processes. When the most important reason for not urging the products in time in ready made garment manufacturing, is searched, it is determined that preparation process between taking order from costumer and starting actual production is the most inefficient process. In this study, it is aimed to classify activities and to arrange activities according to their importance degree by practising ABC analysis for managing this process. For this, a methodology is improved by taking advantage of PERT technique which is an evaluation and a process revision technique. Also, a graphic that betrays proratable ratios of activities is composed by making pareto analysis at the end of the study
