AFET VE ORMAN YANGINI ARAŞTIRMALARININ BİBLİYOMETRİK ANALİZİ

Abstract

Küresel çapta orman yangınlarının sıklığında ve şiddetinde yaşanan artış insanlık, doğa ve çevre için büyük bir tehdit oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma afet ve orman yangını konulu yayınların bibliyometrik analizini yapmak amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bibliyometrik analiz, belirli bir araştırma alanındaki trendleri, bağlantıları ve ilerlemeleri anlamaya yönelik olarak kullanılan önemli bir araştırma yöntemidir. Araştırma verilerine Web of Science (WoS) veri tabanından 17.09.2024 tarihinde ve saat 14:25'te disaster ve forest fire anahtar kelimeleri birlikte kullanılarak çevrimiçi olarak erişilmiştir. Verilerin analizi VOSviewer 1.6.20 yazılımı kullanılarak yapılmıştır. En fazla yayının 2023 yılında yapıldığı, en çok çalışmanın ise Çin’de gerçekleştiği belirlenmiştir. 415 makalenin yayınlandığı dilin İngilizce olduğu ve en çok atıf alan makalenin 380 atıf aldığı; en çok kullanılan anahtar kelimelerin ise orman yangını, orman yangınları ve afet yönetimi olduğu görülmüştür. Sonuçlar afet yönetimi bağlamında değerlendirildiğinde, çalışmaların zaman içerisinde teknolojik gelişmelerin de etkisiyle, afet sonrası müdahaleden ziyade afet öncesi önleme ve risk azaltma stratejilerine yöneldiği görülmektedir. Orman yangınları konusunda, farklı disiplinlerin bakış açılarını bir araya getiren daha fazla bibliyografik çalışma yapılması önerilmektedir.

BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF DISASTER AND FOREST FIRE RESEARCH

Abstract

The increase in the frequency and severity of forest fires on a global scale poses a major threat to humanity, nature, and the environment. This study was conducted to perform a bibliometric analysis of publications related to disasters and forest fires. Bibliometric analysis is a noteworthy research method used for understanding the trends, links and progresses in a certain field of research. The study data were accessed using the keywords disaster and forest fire online on the Web of Science (WoS) database at 14:25 on 09.17.2024. The data were analyzed using the VOSviewer 1.6.20 software program. It was determined that the highest number of publications was in 2023 and the highest number of studies was in China. It was determined that 415 articles were published in English and the article with the highest number of attributions had received 380 attributions. The most frequently used keywords were forest fire, forest fires and disaster management. Evaluating the results in the context of disaster management, it is seen that the studies conducted have tended towards pre-disaster prevention and risk reduction strategies rather than post-disaster intervention in the course of time with the influence of technological developments. It is recommended that more bibliographic studies on forest fires should be carried out, bringing together the perspectives of different disciplines.
