Düzenli spor yapan ve yapmayan adolesanlarda esneklik test sonuçlarının yaş ve cinsiyete bağlı değişimi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, düzenli spor yapan ve yapmayan 13-17 yaşları arasındaki adolesanlarda esneklik test sonuçlarını yaş gruplarına ve cinsiyete göre karşılaştırmaktı. Gereç ve yöntem: Çalışmaya, 13-17 yaşları arasında düzenli spor yapan ve yapmayan 160 kız 160 erkek toplam 320 sağlıklı birey alındı. Farklı ilköğretim ve lise düzeyi okullar ve farklı spor kulüplerindeki adolesanlardan her yaş grubundan spor yapan ve yapmayan 20 kız, 20 erkek toplam 80 birey değerlendirildi. Bireylerin boy uzunluğu ve vücut ağırlığı ölçüldü ve otur-uzan testi ile esnekliği değerlendirildi. Sonuçlar: Spor yapan ve yapmayan kızların esnekliği karşılaştırıldığında tüm yaş gruplarında spor yapanların daha esnek olduğu bulunurken erkeklerde bu farkın 16 yaş grubunda ortaya çıktığı ve spor yapanların daha esnek olduğu görüldü (p
