GLEAM Radyo Kaynakları Kataloğundaki Aday Süpernova Kalıntısı G20.1-0.2’nin Gama Işımasının Araştırılması

Abstract

Searching for Gamma-ray Emission from the Supernova Remnant G20.1-0.2 Detected by the GLEAM Radio Source Catalog

Year 2023, , 71 - 74, 31.12.2023

Abstract

We examined 14 years of gamma-ray data gathered by the Fermi-Large Area Telescope (Fermi-LAT) to analyze G20.1-0.2,
which is first introduced as a potential supernova remnant (SNR) candidate based on the data release of the GaLactic
and Extragalactic All-sky Murchison Widefield Array (GLEAM) survey, which observed new candidate SNRs. G20.1-0.2
is one of these candidate SNRs reported by GLEAM that spatially coincides with an unidentified gamma-ray source from
the fourth Fermi-LAT catalog (4FGL), called 4FGL J1828.0-1133. We analyzed Fermi-LAT gamma-ray data taken over
the energy range of 0.2 - 300 GeV at the location of 4FGL J1828.0-1133. Our analysis showed that the position of 4FGL
J1828.0-1133 overlaps with g20.1-0.2 assuming 4FGL J1828.0-1133 to be point-like gamma-ray source with a log parabola
type spectrum. 4FGL J1828.0-1133 was detected this source with a significance of 6σ. In this paper, we present the results
of this analys
