Çift Yıldızlı Sistemlerde Ötegezegenlerin Geçis Zamanı Analizi

Abstract

G0-G8 tayf türü arasındaki çift yıldız sistemlerinde, Neptün ile Jüpiter arasında yarıçapa sahip ötegezegenlerin ışık eğrileri üzerinden gezegenlerin tutulma anındaki minimum zamanlarından O-C (Observed - Calculated) analizi yapılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında 33 adet aday ötegezegen incelenmiş ve bu ötegezegenlerin transit geçişleri kullanılarak TESS uydu teleskobu tarafından toplanan veriler değerlendirilmiştir. TESS verilerinden elde edilen ışık eğrileri ile her bir minimum çukuruna gauss fonksiyonu geçirilerek MCMC (Monte Carlo - Markov Chain) optimizasyon algoritması ile birlikte her sistemin minimum zamanları hesaplanmış, sistemlerin O-C değişim grafikleri oluşturulmuştur ve fark diyagramları elde edilmiştir. Periyodik bir sinyal frekansını işlemek için O-C fark değerlerinden Lomb-Scargle pediogramı oluşturulup belirli bir frekanstaki herhangi bir sinüzoidal sinyal için bir tepe noktası belirlenmiştir. Lomb-Scargle pediogramı için FAP (yanlış alarm olasılığı) değerleri hesaplanmıştır.

Transit Time Analysis of Exoplanets in Binary Systems

Abstract

O-C (Observed - Calculated) analysis was performed on the light curves of exoplanets with a radius between Neptune and Jupiter in double star systems between the G0-G8 spectral types. Within the scope of the study, 33 candidate exoplanets were examined and the data collected by the TESS satellite telescope were evaluated using the transits of these exoplanets. With the light curves obtained from TESS data, the minimum times of each system were calculated with the MCMC (Monte Carlo - Markow Chain) optimization algorithm by passing a Gaussian function to each minimum trough with the light curves obtained from TESS data, the O-C change graphs of the systems are created and the difference diagram is extracted. To process a periodic signal frequency, a Lomb-Scargle pediogram is performed from the O-C difference values and a peak is determined for any sinusoidal signal at a given frequency. FAP (false alarm probability) values are calculated for the Lomb-Scargle pediogram.
