TESS Observations of the HT Cas Cataclysmic Variable System

Abstract

In this study, we analysed the photometric observations of the HT Cas binary system obtained by the TESS satellite telescope. The frequency analysis of the newly obtained time series was performed for sectors 18, 24 and 58. The dominant frequency, the value for the orbital period, was precisely reconstructed as 0.0736461 days. As a result of the frequency analysis, ten frequencies were identified, but most of them were found to be a combination of each other.

HT Cas Kataklismik Değişen Sisteminin TESS Gözlemleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada örten cüce nova HT Cas çift sisteminin TESS uydu teleskobu tarafından elde edilen fotometrik gözlemleri incelenmiştir. Elde edilen yeni zaman serilerinin frekans analizi 18, 24 ve 58 sektörlerini kapsayacak şekilde yapılmıştır. Baskın frekans olan yörünge dönemine ilişkin değer hassas bir şekilde 0.0736461 gün olarak yeniden elde edildi. Yapılan frekans analizi sonucunda on adet frekans tespit edilmiş fakat bunlarının çoğunun birbirlerinin kombinasyonu olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
