GP Cep Eclipsing Binary Wolf-Rayet System

Abstract

In this study, a long-term (2015-2020) photometric observational study of the eclipsing binary Wolf-Rayet system GP Cep (WR153, HD 211853) has been analysed. The long-term light variation of the system has been studied and the radial velocity and light curves have been modelled simultaneously. Despite the scatter in the light curves due to the nature of Wolf-Rayet binaries, eclipses were clearly obtained. As a result of the analyses, the orbital inclination angle ($i$) is 51.3°, the mass ratio ($q$) is 0.212 and the orbital period ($P$) is 6.6888 days.

GP Cep Örten Çift Wolf-Rayet Sistemi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, örten çift Wolf-Rayet GP Cep (WR153, HD 211853) sisteminin uzun dönemli (2015-2020) fotometrik gözlemsel çalışması yapılmıştır. Sisteminin uzun dönemli ışık değişimi incelenmiş, dikine hız eğrileri ile ışık eğrileri bir arada modellenmiştir. Wolf-Rayet çift sistemlerinin yapısı gereği ışık eğrileirnde ortaya çıkan saçılmalara karşın tutulmalar belirgin bir şekilde elde edilmiştir. Analizler sonucunda yörünge eğim açısı ($i$) 51.3°, kütle oranı ($q$) 0.212 ve sistemin yörünge dönemi ($P$) 6.6888 gün olarak elde edilmiştir.
