FeI 5434.5 Å ve FeI 6301.5 Å Fraunhofer Çizgi Profillerinin Merkez-Kenar Değişimlerinin İncelenmesinin İlk Sonuçları

Abstract

IRSOL Güneş Gözlemevi’nde kurulu Gregory-Coude Teleskobunun kullanıldığı gözlemlerde, sırasıyla 550 km ve 340 km olan merkezî oluşum yükseklikleri itibariyle (Kucera ve ark. 1998) Güneş’in alt kromosferi ve orta-üst fotosferini temsil eden FeI 5434.5 Å ve FeI 6301.5 Å dalgaboylu Fraunhofer çizgilerini içeren dar bölgelerin şiddet spektrumları kaydedilmiştir. Giriş yarığı kuzey-güney doğrultusunda disk kenarından merkezine doğru 12 farklı  pozisyonunda konumlandırılarak elde edilen 10 Å genişliğindeki bu spektrumlar yardımıyla, kara akım, düz alan ve süreklilik düzeltmeleri yapılarak spektral bölge şiddet ortalamalarına göre normalize edilmeleri sonrasında; spektral sürekliliklerinin, seçilen FeI absorbsiyon çizgi profillerinin merkezî şiddetlerinin, dalgaboyu kaymalarının ve bu çizgilerin asimetrilerini temsilen bisektörlerinin merkez-kenar değişimleri incelenmiştir.

Preliminary Results of Investigation of Center-Limb Variations of FeI 5434.5 Å and FeI 6301.5 Å Fraunhofer Line Profiles

Abstract

In the observations performed by using the Gregory-Coude Telescope at the IRSOL Solar Observatory, the intensity spectraof the narrow regions containing the Fraunhofer lines at Fe I 6301.5 Å and Fe I 5434.5 Å that represent the middle-upper photosphere and the lower chromosphere with the formation height of the line core of 340 km and 550 km (Kucera et al. 1998), respectively were recorded. With the help of these 10 Å wide spectra obtained by positioning the entranceslit in 12 different μ positions from the solar disk limb to the disk center in the north-south direction, after making dark current, flat field, and continuity corrections and normalizing according to the spectral range intensity averages, the observed center-to-limb variations of the spectral continuities, the central intensities of the selected Fe I absorption line profiles,the wavelength shifts and the bisectors representing the asymmetries of these lines were investigated.
