Abstract

Murchison Widefield Array’in gerçekleştirdiği GLEAM (Galactic and Extra-galactic All-sky) gözlemleri 2019 yılında, 345° < l < 60° ve 180° < l < 240° boylamlarında bulunan 27 yeni aday radyo süpernova kalıntısı (SNK) keşfetti.

Investigation of Three Supernova Remnants Discovered by GLEAM Observations at Gamma-Ray Wavelengths

Abstract

GLEAM (Galactic and Extragalactic All-sky) observations by Murchison Widefield Array discovered 27 new candidate radio supernova remnants (SNRs) in 2019, located at longitudes 345° < l < 60° and 180° < l < 240°. To determine the gamma-ray emission from these candidate radio SNRs, we analyzed 14 years of Fermi-LAT data in the energy range of 1 – 300 GeV. As a result of our analyses, we found that G18.9-1.2, G23.1+0.1 and G28.3+0.2 SNRs appear as point sources in gamma rays and the significance level is found to be 9 sigma, 13 sigma and 11 sigma, respectively. In this study, we describe the results of our gamma analyses for G18.9-1.2, G23.1+0.1 and G28.3+0.2.
