Turkish Journal of Applied Geoinformation Sciences (TJAGS) is an international, open-access and double-blind peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes “Original Articles”, “Review Articles”, “Short Communications”, and “Technical Notes” on applied geoinformation sciences. The journal covers a wide range of topics including, but not limited to: Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing (RS), photogrammetry, cartography, spatial data infrastructures, cloud-based geospatial big data analysis (e.g., Google Earth Engine platform), geostatistics, spatial modeling, and geovisual analytics. The journal also encourages submissions on emerging topics such as artificial intelligence (AI) and machine/deep learning (ML and DL) in geospatial analysis, unmanned aerial vehicles and systems (UAV and UAS), Internet of Things (IoT)–enabled spatial data, digital twins, smart cities, and location-based services.
Turkish Journal of Applied Geoinformation Sciences (TJAGS) accepts manuscripts in English and is published twice a year, in March and September, in an online format.
Turkish Journal of Applied Geoinformation Sciences (TJAGS) does not charge any fees at any stage of the assessment or publication processes for submitted manuscripts.
