Abstract

Petrol Jeologlarımızdan Cevat Eyüp Taşman, iki gün kadar kısa süren bir hastalıktan sonra, 3 Ekim 1956 da gece saat 9.05 de hayata gözlerini yummuştur. Cevat Bey 26 Aralık 1893 de Bolu'da doğmuş olup, Vilâyet mektupçularından Eyüp Sabri Beyin oğludur. Annesi tarafından Gelibolu'nun meşhur ulema ve füzelâsından Mevlevi Şeyhi Hüsamettin'e mensuptur.
