Uludağ Masifinin Tektoniği Hakkında

Abstract

Uludağ, 2600 metreye yakın irtifaı ile şimalbatı Anadolunun  en yüksek zirvelerinden birini teşkil eder. 40 km. uzunluğunda, 20 km. genişliğinde ve WNW-ESE
istika-
metinde bir masif teşkil eden bu dağ, birbirinden kesin olarak farklı muhtelif seviyelerde muhtelif topografya şekilleri gösterir. Dağın esas yapısını kristalin şistler ile granit plutonları teşkil ederler. Bunların üzerine permokarbonifer tabakaları ve neojen kara rüsubları gelir.
