He was born on 25 May 1983 in Dimetoka, Greece. In 2006, he graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Theology. He completed his postgraduate education at Marmara University in 2014 and received his doctorate degree in Islamic law. He is currently working as an Associate Professor at Sakarya University Faculty of Theology. His research interests include foundation law and history, classical-modern fiqh thought, late Ottoman legal thought and Islamic economics. Purpose in Waqf: A Research in the Framework of Hanafi Waqf Law, 40 Questions on Waqf, and The Literature of Islamic Law Studies in Turkey (1928-2012), as well as published articles and book translations.

He was born in 1968 in Gümüşhane. He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Law (1992). He became a research assistant at Atatürk University Erzincan Faculty of Law (1993). He received his master's degree from Marmara University Institute of Social Sciences Public Law Programme with the thesis titled ‘Two Dimensions of the Contemporary State: Emancipation and Privatisation’ at Marmara University Institute of Social Sciences Public Law Programme (1994) and completed his master's degree with the thesis titled “Political Participation in Turkey within the Framework of the 1982 Constitution” (1998). In 2004, he became an associate professor and in 2009 he became a professor. He focused his studies on State Theory and Human Rights. He published books titled Feodaliteden Küreselleşmeye Ekonomik İktidar Siyasal İktidar İlişkisi (Seçkin Yayınları, 2003) and Sanayi Devriminden Küreselleşmeye Sosyal Haklar (Oniki Levha Yayınları, 2009). Globalisation and Turkey: The Development of the State in Turkey (Seçkin Y., 2007) and General Public Law (M. Akad/B. Dinçkol, Der Y., 2011). He has articles published in various journals. In 2011, he joined Istanbul Şehir University Faculty of Law.

İstanbul Üniversitesi İşletme Fakültesi’nden 1982 yılında mezun oldu. 1984 yılında yüksek lisans ve 1991 yılında doktora derecelerini pazarlama alanında İstanbul Üniversitesi’nden aldı. 1996 yılına kadar özel sektörde çalıştı. 1996 yılından itibaren Kırıkkale ve Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitelerinde görev yaptı. KTO Karatay Üniversitesi ile İstanbul Ticaret Üniversitelerinde rektörlük ve Rekabet Kurumunda başkanlık görevlerinde bulundu. TÜBİTAK Bilim Kurulu üyeliği de yapan Torlak, pazarlama ahlakı, pazarlama tarihi, tüketim kültürü ve tüketici araştırmaları alanlarında çalışmalarını sürdürüyor. Devam eden makale ve bildiri çalışmaları yanında son dönemlerde kaleme aldığı İkiyüzlü Pazarlama adlı kitabı ile pazarlamanın farklı veçhelerini gündeme getiren, Girişimcilik – Değişim ve Değer Yolculuğu eseri ile değer temelli girişimciliği öneren, İnce Çizgi isimli romanda bir döneme tanıklık yapmaya çalışan, Yalnızlık Yansımaları başlıklı deneme eserinde yalnızlığın olumlu ve olumsuz yönlerine vurgu yapan, Sosyal Bilimlerle İmtihanımız-İnsanın İnsana Ettiği başlıklı kitapla sosyal bilimlere bambaşka bir bakış açısı öneren ve Pazarlama Felsefesi-Özgün Bir Bakış isimli eserinde pazarlama biliminin anlaşılmasına özgün bir katkı ortaya koyan, Karanlığın İçi başlıklı öykü kitabında ise gündelik hayatın içinden insan örneklerini farklı bakış açısıyla irdeleyen Torlak, halen İstanbul Sabahattin Zaim Üniversitesi İşletme Bölümü’nde akademik çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.

Dr. Muhammet Sait Bozik graduated from Çukurova University Department of Statistics and completed his master's degree in Islamic Economics and Finance at Istanbul University. After completing his PhD studies in Economics at Istanbul University by analysing the relationship between the rule of law and income distribution from an empirical perspective, Bozik is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Haliç University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Mathematics.

His areas of expertise include macroeconomics, economic history, financial mathematics, statistics, game theory, mathematical economics, law and economics, and income inequality. He has published many international articles and book chapters in his academic career and has also been involved as a researcher in national and international projects. His research focuses on theoretical and empirical analyses of economic policies and income distribution.

Dr. Bozik is a member of prestigious scientific organisations such as the American Economic Association. In addition to his academic career, Dr Bozik has played active roles in various editorial and research projects.

He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Balıkesir University. He received his PhD degree in business administration from Eskişehir Osmangazi University with a thesis titled ‘Competitive strategies in organisations within the scope of organisational structure and resource-based view: A research in Turkey's top 1000 industrial enterprises’ in Eskişehir Osmangazi University Business Administration Doctorate Programme. He is currently working as an associate professor at Kastamonu University, Department of International Trade and Logistics. He is interested in micro-organisation theories, business ethics and strategic management.

Dr. Ayhan Akpınar works as a research assistant in the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics, Administrative, and Social Sciences at KTO Karatay University. He received his bachelor’s degree from TOBB University of Economics and Technology in 2015; he completed his master’s degree at KTO Karatay University and his doctoral degree in the Department of Business Administration at Eskişehir Osmangazi University. Dr. Akpınar, who has published works in the field of marketing at both the national and international levels and serves as a reviewer for various international journals, focuses his research on consumer psychology, service marketing, and international marketing.

He serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University. He received his bachelor’s degree from the Department of Business Administration in English at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Marmara University, in 2013. He completed his master’s degree at Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University in 2018 and his PhD in marketing at Eskişehir Osmangazi University in 2024. As part of his doctoral studies, he spent one year at The Sustainable Consumption Institute at The University of Manchester in the United Kingdom. After completing his PhD, he conducted research at the University of York with a research fellowship awarded by the York Environmental Sustainability Institute. His academic research focuses on sustainable consumption, consumer ethics, and consumer activism.

Dr. Eren Kalanyuva is a member of the Department of Administrative Law at Istanbul University Faculty of Law. He received his LL.B. from Anadolu University Faculty of Law in 2008 and completed his master’s studies in “Advanced European Studies, with a focus on the European Union” at the European College of Parma Foundation in Italy in 2010. He subsequently worked as a legal trainee in Brussels at the European Commission’s Directorate-General responsible for public health and food safety. In 2024, he received his PhD from Istanbul University with a dissertation entitled “The Impact of Legal Transplants from ECtHR Judgments on the Council of State’s Approach to Administrative Law.” As part of his doctoral research, he was a visiting researcher at Leiden University from 2016 to 2017. His academic research primarily focuses on administrative law and administrative judicial procedure, as well as comparative public law, legal transplant theory, the impact of ECtHR case law on the decisions of national high courts, public procurement law, and energy market law. His doctoral dissertation was published as a monograph in 2025. He has also produced various scholarly works, including translations, articles, book chapters, and papers presented at national and international academic conferences.
