Analysis of bioclimatic comfort of Ankara province
Abstract
In recent years, some environmental issues and ecological deterioration appears as a result of increase of energy use. Reducing the need of energy is possible with a design and planning process supported by bioclimatic knowledge. Meteorological parameters and new parameters that obtained with their statistical investigation is very important for design features, selection of materials and new locations to be used for settlements. In this context, the temperature and humudity parameters were examined in the study, from these parameters bioclimatic comfort are derived and the results were evaluated. Case studies in Ankara, temperature values are derived in 1x1 km resolution and these values are mapped. Derived temperature values and humidity values are superposed and sensed temperature values are composed. The results show that derived and measured values are different in June, July, August and Septemper months, so the maps of these months are presented in findings and discussion.
