Primary Care Show 2025 Conference Exchange: A UK based conference exchange

Abstract

The exchange programs organized by the European Young Family Doctors Movement (EYFDM) under the leadership of the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA) offer young family physicians the opportunity to learn about primary healthcare systems in different countries. Prior to the Primary Care Show 2025 conference held in Birmingham, UK, on May 14-15, 2025, a two-day exchange was run as part of the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) Primary Care Show 2025 exchange program. The exchange program enabled an insight into the UK's primary healthcare system. General Practitioner (GP) trainees and GPs in their first five years of training across the world were invited to attend a pre-conference exchange. Primary care services observation included preventive healthcare, chronic disease management, women's health services, and vaccination. Significant shared learning and development took place for hosts, exchange delegates, and the organising committee.

Primary Care Show 2025 Konferans Değişim Programı: Birleşik Krallık Merkezli Bir Konferans Değişimi

Abstract

Dünya Aile Hekimleri Birliği (World Organization of Family Doctors - WONCA) liderliğinde Avrupa Genç Aile Hekimleri Hareketi (European Young Family Doctors Movement - EYFDM) tarafından düzenlenen değişim programları, genç aile hekimlerine farklı ülkelerdeki birinci basamak sağlık sistemlerini öğrenme fırsatı sunmaktadır.         
Birleşik Krallık’ın Birmingham kentinde 14–15 Mayıs 2025 tarihlerinde düzenlenen Primary Care Show 2025 konferansından önce, Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) Primary Care Show 2025 değişim programı kapsamında iki günlük bir değişim gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu değişim programı, Birleşik Krallık’ın birinci basamak sağlık sistemine dair karşılaştırma tecrübesi ve deneyim kazanılmasını sağlamıştır.
Dünya genelinde aile hekimliği uzmanlık öğrencileri ve meslekte ilk beş yılındaki aile hekimleri, konferans öncesi değişime katılmak üzere davet edilmiştir. Gözlemlenen birinci basamak sağlık hizmetleri arasında koruyucu sağlık hizmetleri, kronik hastalık yönetimi, kadın sağlığı hizmetleri ve aşılama yer almaktadır. Ev sahibi kurumlar, değişim delegeleri ve organizasyon komitesi için önemli düzeyde karşılıklı öğrenme ve mesleki gelişim gerçekleşmiştir.
