Abstract

İncir ağacı yaprağı furokumarin içerir ve güneş ışığıyla beraber maruziyeti fitodermatit yapabilmektedir. Acil servislerde veya birinci basamak sağlık hizmeti veren kliniklerde, fizik muayene bulguları ve yeterli anamnezle tanısı konulabilmektedir. Tedavide güneş ışığına maruziyetten kaçınma, sistemik ve topikal steroidler faydalı olabilir. Gelişebilecek komplikasyonlara karşı hasta bilgilendirilmelidir. Literatüre katkı amaçlı nadir görülen incir ağacı yaprağına bağlı gelişen fitodermatit olgusunu sunuyoruz.

Abstract

Fig tree leaf contains furocoumarin and exposure to sunlight can cause phytophotodermatitis. Diagnosis can be made with physical examination findings and adequate anamnesis in emergency departments or clinics that provide primary health care services. Avoiding exposure to sunlight, systemic and topical steroids may be beneficial in treatment. The patient should be informed about possible complications. We present a rare case of phytophotodermatitis due to fig tree leaf to contribute to the literature.
