ASEMPTOMATİK HALLUKS VALGUSLU BİREYLERDE TEK AYAK ÜZERİ DENGE PERFORMANSININ İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, halluks valguslu (HV) bireylerde tek ayak üzeri denge performansının
araştırılarak sağlıklı kontrol grubu ile karşılaştırılmasıydı.
Yöntem: Bu çalışmaya, 20-57 yaş aralığında (32,57±10,15 yıl) iki erkek ve 21 kadın olmak üzere toplam
23 asemptomatik HV olan birey dahil edildi. Kontrol grubu ise 19-58 yıl yaş aralığında (33,36±10,53
yıl) iki erkek ve 23 kadın olmak üzere 25 bireyden oluşturuldu. Bireylerin ayak başparmağı pozisyonu
Manchester Skalası kullanılarak, halluks açısı ise gonyometre ile değerlendirildi. Tek ayak üzerinde
denge performansı ve postüral salınım miktarının ölçümü Biodex Denge Sistemleri kullanılarak
değerlendirdi. Tek ayak üzerinde denge performansının değerlendirilmesi amacıyla denge skorları
anteroposterior, mediolateal ve ortalama skor olmak üzere hesaplandı. Ayrıca testler esnasında, denge
merkezinden sapmaların standart deviasyonu anteroposterior ve mediolateral yönde hesaplandı.
Sonuçlar: Her iki grubun ortalama değerleri, anteroposterior ve mediolateral skorları arasında
anlamlı fark yoktu (p>0,05). Her iki gruba ait ortalama değerler, anteroposterior ve mediolateral
yönde denge merkezinden sapmaların standart deviasyonu da birbirine benzerdi (p>0,05). Ayak
parmağı halluks açısı ile ortalama, anteroposterior ve mediolateral skor arasında anlamlı ilişki yoktu
(p>0,05). Bireylerin yaşı ile değerlendirilen denge parametreleri arasında ilişki bulunmaz iken (p>0,05),
bireylerin boy, vücut ağırlığı ve vücut kütle indeksi (VKİ) değerleri ile denge skorları arasında düşük
düzeyden kuvvetliye değişen ilişki olduğu belirlendi (r=0,314-0,692, p<0,05).
Tartışma: Bu çalışmanın sonuçları, asemptomatik HV olan ve normal ayak parmağı pozisyonuna
sahip bireylerin tek ayak üzerindeki denge performansının benzer olduğunu göstermektedir. Bununla
birlikte elde edilen sonuçlar bireylerin vücut kütlesindeki artışın denge performansında kayıplara
neden olduğuna işaret etmektedir.
