Isparta İli Elma Bahçelerinde Çukur Tuzak Örnekleme Yöntemi ile Yakalanan Carabidae Familyasına ait Biyoçeşitlilik Parametrelerinin Hesaplanması

Year 2021, Volume: 3 Issue: 1, 50 - 56, 27.06.2021

Abstract

Measurement of Biodiversity Parameters of Carabidae Family Sampled by Pitfall Traps in The Apple Orchards in Isparta Province

Year 2021, Volume: 3 Issue: 1, 50 - 56, 27.06.2021

Abstract

This study conducted between 2016 and 2017 in apple orchard of Isparta University of Applied Sciences (ISUBU) campus due to measurement of biodiversity parameters of Carabidae species. To achieve this goal, three apple orchards of the same size were selected in the eastern campus of ISUBU. The selected apple orchards were determined as well maintened - using pesticide, well maintened – not using pesticide, and neglected – not using pesticide. Pitfall trap sampling method was used in selected orchards for determine carabid species. According to the biodiversity parameter results calculated based on the data obtained, Shannon-Wiener, Simpson and Hill diversity index results calculated that the carabid diversity in the non-sprayed apple orchard was higher than in the gardens with human intervention, and these values were calculated as 1.66, 0.74 and 3.88, respectively. The study revealed that agricultural activities have a negative effect on the diversity of carabid species and the similarity of habitats. It has been determined that the carabid diversity decreases when these ecosystems are intervened from the outside by human affects. Solutions have been proposed to the related problem with present study.
