IFLA-The Top Ten Picture Books of Countries Project

Abstract

IFLA Children's and Young Adults section launched a project in 2011 named The World Through Picture Books, Librarians determined the Top 10 picture books in their country. So far thirty six countries have participated in this project and Turkey is the thirty seventh country to take part. The books have been selected forthis project by means of an electronic voting method which was completed by all librarians in Turkey. In this article, with utilisation of information via an electronic format given about the project then The World through PictureBooks for Turkey is introduced

IFLA- Ülkelerin En İyi On Resimli Çocuk Kitapları Listesi Projesi

Abstract

IFLA Çocuklar ve Genç Yetişkinler Bölümü, her ülkenin kütüphanecileri tarafından belirlenen en iyi on resimli kitap, The World Through Picture Books1 projesini 2011 yılında başlatmış bulunmaktadır. Şimdiye kadar 36 ülkenin yer aldığı projeye, Türkiye 37. ülke olarak katılmıştır. Proje çerçevesinde, Türkiye’deki tüm kütüphaneciler tarafından, elektronik oylama yöntemiyle en iyi on resimli çocuk kitabı seçilmiştir. Bu makalede, projenin yayınlanan elektronik kataloğundan yararlanılarak, proje hakkında bilgi verilmekte ve Türkiye için hazırlanan en iyi on resimli kitap projesi tanıtılmaktadır.
