A RESEARCH ON THE FATHER FIGURE IN PROVERBS FROM TRADITIONAL CULTURE TO LINGUISTIC STRUCTURE

Abstract

In this article, the linguistic features related to the concept of “father”, embodied in proverbs and folk works, are discussed. Proverbs make our speech effective and complete, as well as increase its effectiveness. Therefore, the speech of people who use proverbs is expressive and clear. A proverb is the opinion and conclusion of human ancestors, which comes from people's life experience. For each people the desire to be stable in expressing thoughts in the process of communication is expressed in mainly in proverbs. A proverb serves as the main idea of folk culture and social values. The qualities of clarity of thought, brevity and expressiveness are manifested in the proverb. The main source of proverbs is related to people's life and times, and originates from people's culture, ancient customs, environment, occupation, living conditions and their surroundings. Along with the changes in people's way of life and social conditions, their views on life also change, folk proverbs also differ from each other. Another reason is the individual thinking of the creators of proverbs. If we look at the contents of the book and oral proverbs of the people, it becomes clear that they describe various events of the past life, which are of great importance for the study of the history of the people. Therefore, a proverb is a very important phenomenon that was formed as a result of ancient events of human society. They are the expression of thoughts, philosophy and worldview of the people of the past era. In this article, the general reflection of the personality of fathers, which has been expressed in the thinking of people for centuries in the manifestation of the concept of “father” and the relationship of parents their children and family in society, has been discussed. In order to study the characteristics of the fathers of the people of the East, the father's responsibility towards his children, his duties in the family and the main duties of children towards their parents are included. Because in the proverb, the thought is expressed in a didactic form, and the noble qualities of the father, his rank and value are fully expressed. In this context, linguistic studies clarify the multifaceted nature of education and show a broader understanding of family relations as a cultural evolution. In addition, in the Eastern culture, the relationship, respect and recognition of parents towards their children is highly valued, and the special qualities of people are manifested in the proverbs of the oral creativity of the people. That is, in the article, determining the position of the father in the culture of the peoples of the East is a special goal of the research, and in the process of researching the topic, we mainly relied on the folklore of the people and the works of the people of the community.
