Abstract

Bu çalışma, psikiyatr Mustafa Merter’in ben-ötesi psikolojisi ekseninde yazdığı “Dokuz Yüz Katlı İnsan” adlı kitabın incelenmesini amaçlamaktadır. Merter, psikoloji ile maneviyatı harmanladığı söz konusu bu eserinde, transpersonel psikoloji perspektifinden modern insanın içinde bulunduğu varoluşsal sıkıntılara ilişkin İslam tasavvuf öğretisinin zengin kaynaklarından yararlanarak Batı ve Doğu düşüncesinin buluştuğu ortak bir zeminde okuyucuya farklı bir insan betimlemesi sunmaktadır.

Dokuz Yüz Katlı İnsan: Tasavvuf ve Ben Ötesi Psikolojisi

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the book titled "The Nine Hundredfold Man" written by psychiatrist Mustafa Merter on the axis of transpersonal psychology. In this work in which he collates psychology and spirituality, Merter presents a different human description to the reader on a common ground where Western and Eastern thought meet by making use of the rich sources of Islamic sufism regarding the existential problems of modern humans from the perspective of transpersonal psychology.
