TONSİLDEN KAYNAKLANAN FİBROLİPOMA: OLGU SUNUMU

Abstract

Yirmi üç yaşında, boğazında yabancı cisim hissi ve yutma güçlüğü şikayetleri olan erkek hasta kliniğimize başvurdu. Klinik muayenesinde polipoid kitle izlendi. Bilgisayarlı tomografi ve manyetik rezonans ile incelemede nodüler lezyon saptandı. Kitle lokal anestezi altında total olarak eksize edildi. Spesimenin patolojik incelenmesinde; tanısı fibrolipoma olarak rapor edildi. Sonuç olarak; tonsillanın benign tümörleri arasında fibrolipom oldukça nadir görülmektedir ve baş boyun kanserlerinde ayırıcı tanıda düşünülmelidir. FİBROLİPOMA OF THE TONSILLA: CASE REPORT

Abstract

23 years old male patient was admitted to our clinic with the complaint of the foreign body sensation in the throat and difficulty in swallowing. A polypoid mass was observed in clinical examination. Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging examination revealed a nodular lesion. The mass was excised under local anesthesia. Pathological examination of the specimen, was reported as fibrolipoma. As a result; fibrolipoma of tonsilla is an extremely rare benign tumor and should be considered in the differential diagnosis of head and neck cancers.
