Abstract

ABSTRACT
Osteochondroma is the most common benign bone tumor observed in the skeleton. It is so uncommon in hand except for multiple hereditary exositosis. Like osteochondromas at other
locations, the majority of osteochondromas of the hand are presented as painless masses, however; an osteochondroma of the finger can cause joint stiffness, angulation, rotation and
deformities like mallet finger. In order to prevent these problems, early surgery is advised. Here, we report an osteochondroma case which is located at proximal phalanx.
