Writing Rules

The spelling rules for the Turkish Online Journal of Design Art and Communication (TOJDAC) have been updated as of the 7th edition of the American Psychological Association (APA) as of 22.06.2022. Articles that are not the same as the article template and do not comply with the APA 7th edition will not be processed. You can organize your article by article template.

All studies submitted to our journal must have the following characteristics:
Studies submitted as a basic spelling rule must be written in accordance with the APA (7.0) style. Examples and exceptions are listed below:
Notes and references should be reserved. Notes should be numbered in text and given as 'footnote'. References should be arranged according to the APA system.2. Arrangement of titles:
MAIN TITLE All letters capital, 14 point and bold, main title written in other language 12 pt
INTRODUCTION, ÖZ, ABSTRACT, RESULT AND SOURCE All letters are capitalized, left leaning, 11 point, bold,
Headings initials are capitalized, leaning left, 11 point, bold,
Subheadings, initials capital, italic, aligned with paragraph, 11 point, bold.
Articles should be written in the Microsoft Word program and the page dimensions should be arranged as follows:
Paper Size: A4 Vertical
Top Margin: 2.5 cm
Bottom Margin: 2.5 cm
Left Margin: 2.5 cm
Right Margin: 2.5 cm
Paragraph Head: 1 cm
Block Quote: Left 1 cm
Font: Times New Roman
Font Style: Normal
Main Text Size: 11 pt
Block Quote: 11 punto
Footnote Text Size: 9 point
In-Table Information: 9 points
Paragraph Range: Single
Row Spacing: Single (1)
