FORMATION, STAGES AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A MUSIC PRODUCTİON (EXAMPLE OF A BAP PROJECT NAMED “THE VOICE OF THE CONSERVATORY”)

Abstract

Music is known as one of the oldest branches of art in human history and also represents cultural accumulation. In this context, the album project named “The Voice of the Conservatory” realized by conservatory students constitutes an important example in the field of music production. Thanks to this project, conservatory students and their instructors came together and aimed to contribute to the world of music with both traditional and classical music works. The album project “The Voice of the Conservatory” is an important music production work realized with the cooperation of conservatory students. This project includes works that include three folk song formats and three Turkish Classical music formats. The album pieces in this project went through many different processes from the selection to the recording stage. The channel recording techniques, the working process of the pieces to be read, the preparation of the arrangement, the mixing-mastering and the uploading stages to digital platforms included in this music production were meticulously handled and presented. All these stages were prepared in a professional music studio. Thanks to the channel recording techniques used during the recording processes, every instrument and vocal (voice) were clearly obtained. The album titled “The Voice of the Conservatory” that emerged as a result of these recordings was shared on digital platforms such as Spotify and iTunes. Thanks to this work, in addition to being an important step for the music careers of the conservatory students, it also allowed them to develop their creative and artistic expressions. In addition, this music production that was put forward defined a success story in its own field and provided students with important experiences in terms of both musical and recording techniques.

BİR MÜZİK PRODÜKSİYONU OLUŞUMU, AŞAMALARI VE HAYATA GEÇİRİLMESİ (“KONSERVATUVARIN SESİ” ADLI BAP PROJE ÖRNEĞİ)

Abstract

Müzik, insanlık tarihinin en eski sanat dallarından biri olarak bilinmesiyle birlikte kültürel birikimi de temsil etmektedir. Bu bağlamda, konservatuvar öğrencileri tarafından gerçekleştirilen “Konservatuvarın Sesi” adlı albüm projesi, müzik prodüksiyonu alanında önemli bir örnek teşkil etmektedir. Bu proje kapsamı sayesinde konservatuvar öğrencileri ve hocaları bir araya gelerek hem geleneksel hem de klasik müzik eserleri ile müzik dünyasına katkıda bulunmayı hedeflemişlerdir. “Konservatuvarın Sesi” albüm projesi, konservatuvar öğrencilerinin işbirliği ile gerçekleştirilen önemli bir müzik prodüksiyonu çalışmasıdır. Bu proje içerisinde üç türkü formatı ve üç Türk Klasik müziği formatını içeren eserleri kapsamaktadır. Bu projede yer alan albüm parçalarının seçiminden kayıt aşamasına kadar birçok farklı süreçten geçmiştir. Bu müzik prodüksiyonu içerisinde yer alan kanal kayıt teknikleri, okunacak parçaların çalışma süreci, aranjenin hazırlanması, mix- mastering ve dijital platformlara yükleme aşamaları titizlikle ele alınarak ortaya konmuştur. Tüm bu aşamalar profesyonel bir müzik stüdyosunda hazırlanmıştır. Kayıt süreçleri sırasında kullanılan kanal kayıt teknikleri sayesinde her enstrüman ve vokal (şan) net bir şekilde elde edilmiştir. Bu kayıtlar sonucunda ortaya çıkan “Konservatuvarın Sesi” adlı albüm, Spotify ve iTunes gibi dijital platformlarda paylaşılmıştır. Bu çalışma sayesinde konservatuvar öğrencilerinin müzik kariyerleri için önemli bir adım olmasının yanı sıra, onların yaratıcı ve sanatsal ifadelerini geliştirmelerine de olanak tanımıştır. Ayrıca ortaya konan bu müzik prodüksiyonu kendi alanında bir başarı hikayesini tanımlamakla birlikte hem müzikal hem de kayıt teknikleri anlamında öğrencilere önemli deneyimler kazandırmıştır.
