Abstract

Anthropometric measurements, belonging to the head such as the head length, head circumference, head height, and the body length were measured in primary school students of 7-11 years group, in a total of 900 students . The data obtained from these measurements were compared wth respect to age and sex of the students in primary school. The correlation between anthropometric measures of the head and body length was assessed according to age and sex. Key words: 7-11 ages, head, anthropometry, measurement.

Abstract

7-11 yaş grubu ilkokul çocuklarında boy, baş uzunluğu, baş çevresi ve baş yüksekliğine ait antropometrik ölçümler 468'i (%52) erkek, 432'si (%48) kız toplam 900 öğrencide ölçüldü. Elde edilen bulgular yaşa ve cinsiyete göre karşılaştırıldı. Okul çocuklarında baş ölçüm değerleri arasındaki korelasyon yaş ve cLnsLyete göre mukayese edLldL.
