Subcapsular Nephrectomy, Ureterectomy, Partial Cystectomy Due to Forgotten Ureteral Stent: Case Report

Abstract

Ureteral stents are widely used in urology. Morbidities like pain, infection, encrustation, and stone formation can occur due to stents. The patient´s having calcule history and stents staying for a long time, increase the risk of stone formation or incrustation in the stent. Key words: Forgotten Ureteral Stent; Stone Formation; Management.

Abstract

Üreteral stentler ürolojide yaygın olarak kullanılırlar. Stentlere bağlı ağrı, enfeksiyon , enkrustasyon ve taş formasyonu gibi morbiditeler oluşabilir. Hastanın taş öyküsünün olması ve stentinin uzun süre kalması stent de enkrustasyon veya taş formasyon riskini artırır. Anahtar kelimeler: Unutulmuş Üreteral Stent; Taş Oluşumu; Tedavi.
