Abstract

Traumatic shoulder dislocations are usually unilateral and anterior,5 bilateral shoulder dislocations are rarely seen4. The literature study showed that simultaneous, bilateral shoulder dislocationare defined as a sports injuries, diabetic patients who developed hypoglycemia, the seizure disorders, during electroconvulsive therapy, the various muscle diseases (scapular myopathy, myasthenia gravis), cerebral palsy and voluntary dislocations2,5 We want to report a rare case of bilateral simultaneous anterior shoulder dislocation after falling from a height. Yüksekten Düşme Nedenli İki Taraflı Öne Doğru Omuz Çıkığı

Abstract

Sıklıkla travmalardan sonra oluşan omuz çıkıkları çoğunlukla tek taraflı ve öne doğrudur,5 nadir de olsa iki taraflı omuz çıkığına rastlanmaktadır.4 Yapılan literatür çalışmasında eş zamanlı, iki taraflı omuz çıkığı spor yaralanmalarında, diyabetik hastalarda gelişen hipoglisemide, konvülzyonlarda, elektrokonvülzif tedavi esnasında, çeşitli kas hastalıklarında (skapular miyopati, miyastenya gravis), beyin felcinde ve istemli çıkık şeklinde tanımlanmıştır.2,5 Yüksekten düşme sonrası eş zamanlı iki taraflı omuz çıkığına sık rastlanmadığı için bu nadir rastlanan olguyu bildirmek istedik.
