Bu yazıda tonsil yüzey kültüründe üreme olmadığı halde tonsillektomi sonrası yapılan tonsil derin doku kültür örneğinde Grup B streptokok (S. agalacticae) üretilen bir olgu sunulmuştur. Anahtar kelimeler: Streptococcus agalactiae, Tonsillit

Abstract

In this study, we reported a case where superficial throat culture did not yield for ß hemolytic Streptococci while core tonsillar culture was positive for Grup B ß hemolytic Streptecocci. Key words: Streptococcus agalactiae, Tonsillitis
