Abstract
Objective: Case report of a megaloblastic anemia patient with Roth spots. Case Report: A 42-year-old men with bilateral visual loss that was more pronounced in his left eye, was found to have megaloblastic anemia due to vit B12 defficiency. Both fundi showed retinal hemorrhages, Roth spots and also optic nerve atrophy in his left eye. Anemia, retinal changes and visual acuity resolved after he received vit B12 supplements. Conclusion: This case supports that megaloblastic anemia should be suspected as a cause of retinal hemorrhages. Key words: Megaloblastic Anemia, Roth Spot

Abstract
Amaç: Megaloblastik anemiye bağlı Roth spot hemorajili olgunun sunumu. Olgu Sunumu: Sol gözde görmede azalma şikayetiyle başvuran 42 yaşındaki erkek hastada, sol gözde daha derin olmak üzere her iki gözde görmede azalma ve vit B12 eksikliğine bağlı megaloblastik anemi saptandı. Her iki göz fundus muayenesinde her iki göz retinasında yaygın beyaz merkezli hemorajilerle (Roth spot) beraber sol göz optik diskte atrofi izlendi. Hastaya başlanan vit B12 destek tedavisi ile anemi, fundus bulguları ve görme düzeylerinde düzelme görüldü. Sonuç: Bu vaka Roth spot izlenen hastalarda, megaloblastik aneminin de ayırıcı tanıda göz önünde bulundurulması gerektiğini ortaya koymaktadır. Anahtar kelimeler: Megaloblastik anemi, Roth spot
