Teknolojinin Turist Rehberliği Üzerine Etkilerini Konu Alan Ulusal Makalelerin Meta-Sentez Tekniği ile İncelenmesi

Abstract

Turist rehberliği, son yıllarda turizmde önemi artan meslekler arasındadır. Günümüzde, gelişen teknolojilerin turist rehberliğine etkilerinin akademik araştırmaların ilgi odağı olmaya başladığı görülmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, teknolojinin turist rehberliği üzerine etkilerini, yayınlanmış ulusal makaleleri sentezleyerek analiz etmek ve bu alandaki gelişmeleri Türk akademisyenler perspektifinden ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda ULAKBİM, Dergipark ve Google Akademik veritabanları taranarak belirlenen kriterlere uygun olarak yayınlanmış 12 ulusal makaleye ulaşılmıştır. Meta-sentez tekniği kullanılarak, ulaşılan makalelerin bulgu ve sonuç kısımları oluşturulan temalar çerçevesinde kodlanarak yeniden analiz edilmiştir. Makalelerin analizinde NVİVO 10 nitel veri analiz programından yararlanılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, konu hakkında ulusal literatürde az sayıda makalenin bulunduğu ve bunların son birkaç yıldır yayınlandığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu makalelerde, sosyal medya ve mobil uygulamaların turist rehberliğinde en sık kullanılan teknolojiler olduğu elde edilen önemli sonuçlar arasındadır. Teknolojinin turist rehberliğine en önemli olumlu etkileri bilgi kaynağı olması, işleri kolaylaştırması, tanıtım ve pazarlama aracı olması iken; en önemli olumsuz etkileri ise yetersiz teknolojinin turlarda aksaklığa neden olması, adaptasyon sorunu ve rehbersiz turlara artan eğilim olarak bu çalışma sonuçlarında ortaya konmaktadır.
