Meme Kanseri Tanısı Almış Kadınların Hastalık Temsilleri ve Başa Çıkma Tarzları ile Kaygı ve Depresyon Düzeyleri Arasındaki İlişkilerin İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, tedavi görmekte olan meme kanserli kadınların hastalık temsilleri ve başa çıkma tarzları ile kaygı ve depresyon düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkileri incelemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Akdeniz bölgesindeki iki büyükşehirde yaşayan, birincil meme kanseri tanısı almış ve tedavileri ayakta devam etmekte olan 103 kadın oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada, Hastalık Algısı Ölçeği, Stresle Başa Çıkma Tarzları Ölçeği, Beck Anksiyete Ölçeği ve Beck Depresyon Ölçeği olmak üzere dört ölçme aracı kullanılmıştır. Oluşturulan hipotetik modeli test etmek amacıyla kullanılan yol analizi sonucunda, meme kanserli kadınların hastalık algıları, problem odaklı ve duygu odaklı başa çıkma tarzları ile kaygı ve depresyon düzeyleri arasında anlamlı düzeyde doğrudan ve dolaylı ilişkiler bulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular sağlık psikolojik danışmanlığı çerçevesinde tartışılarak uygulamalara ve gelecek çalışmalara yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
