THE SYMBOLS ON THE PORTRAIT PAINTING IN TURKISH PAINTINGS
Abstract
In this study, those who choose as the subject in Turkish painting portrait artists, and this work was evaluated by the symbolic aspects are discussed in images. In order to do this assessment resources are scanned, who will address this issue in their functioning has been found to be artists. Written in previous years about the artist's writings and interviews with the artists selected were examined this subject face to face as a result of the interviews of the artists works, we tried to create a versatile about perspective. The artists exhibited in museums both national and international works and printed resources according to information obtained by examining the artists in this context have been identified through original artifacts and works of review. As a result of the research it could be called that in Turkish painting portrait painting four basic symbols and symbolic narrative value used in essence taking shape. These are; death, life, reproduction and belief. The selected paintings of stone walls, ruins, birds, grape, jewelry, pieces of fabric made portraits of figures are just some of the accompanying image. Abstract
Bu araştırmada, Türk resminde portreyi konu olarak seçen sanatçıların eserleri ve bu eserlerindeki imgeler sembolik açıdan irdelenerek değerlendirilmiştir. Bu değerlendirmenin yapılabilmesi için öncelikle kaynaklar taranmış, eserlerinde bu konuyu işleyen sanatçıların kimler olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Tespit edilen sanatçılarla ilgili önceki yıllarda yazılmış yazılar ve yapılmış röportajlar incelenmiş, seçilen bu sanatçılarla konuyla ilgili yüz yüze yapılan röportajlar sonucunda sanatçıların işleri hakkında çok yönlü bir bakış açısı oluşturulmaya çalışılmıştır. Sanatçıların gerek ulusal gerekse uluslararası müzelerde sergilenen eserleri ve basılı kaynaklar incelenerek edinilen bilgiler doğrultusunda sanatçıların bu bağlamdaki eserleri tespit edilmiş ve orijinal eserler üzerinden incelemeler yapılmıştır. Yapılan araştırmalar neticesinde denilebilir ki, Türk resminde portre konulu resimlerde kullanılan sembol ve sembolik anlatım dört temel değer özünde şekillenmektedir. Bunlar; ölüm, yaşam, üreme ve inançtır. Seçilen eserlerde taş duvarlar, yıkıntılar, kuşlar, üzümler, takılar, kumaş parçaları portreleri yapılan figürlere eşlik eden imgelerden sadece bazılarıdır. Türk resmindeki imgeler Anadolu insanının yaşamından kesitler sunan ve çoğunlukla halk efsanelerinden yola çıkarak betimlenen toplumsal konuları işaret eden sembollere dönüşmüştür
