ELECTRONIC SUPPORT SYSTEMS IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF EDUCATION

Abstract

Emerging technologies in all areas brought the innovations with it. One of these areas is computer technology and software. Implications of this development show itself so fast in commercial sector and later spread to other areas of life. Therefore Electronic Performance Support Systems (EPSS) give control to the user, increase motivation and performance and may summarize in the form of software which gives the user the desired information and assistance when is needed. Nowadays, it is considered that using EPSS, which is often used for in the commercial sector, in training and teaching environment will have a positive impact on the success of students. In this descriptive study, EPSS' components and structures were investigated the sample field studies, their results and forward suggestions for future applications were given
