Abstract

Köroğlu stories, which have are quite common a reputation in verbal Turkısh culture, are be considered in two main versions as East and West. The group containing episode of hero’s birth in grave constitutes Eastern versions and other group containing episode of hostler blinded constitutes Western versions. Turkey in Western group, presents rich material about story of Köroğlu. This Köroğlu story compiled in Velimeşe Town, Çorlu District, Tekirdağ Province, exemplifies the form of story in Thrace

VELİMEŞE KASABASINDAN DERLENEN BİR KÖROĞLU ANLATMASI

Abstract

Sözlü Türk kültürünün içinde oldukça yaygın bir ünü olan Köroğlu hikâyeleri, halk bilimi çalışmalarında Doğu ve Batı olmak üzere iki ana versiyonda ele alınır. Kahramanın mezarda doğması epizotunu ihtiva eden grup Doğu versiyonlarını, kör edilen seyis epizotunu ihtiva eden grup ise Batı versiyonlarını oluşturur. Batı grubu içinde yer alan Türkiye, Köroğlu anlatmaları bakımından zengin malzeme sunar. Tekirdağ ili, Çorlu ilçesi, Velimeşe kasabasından derlenmiş olan bu Köroğlu hikâyesi de, Trakya’daki anlatmalara bir örnek teşkil etmektedir
